“Come, Follow Me.”

Jesus is after followers, not a fan club. More than simply being a luminary teacher/speaker/traveling miracle worker, Jesus is the Divine Logos— through which all of life finds its meaning. His invitation is to reorient our desires and longings around His own, transforming us into people of love, justice, and mercy, for His name's sake.

Neighborhood Oriented Reconciliation

Throughout scripture, we witness Jesus lovingly pulling the margins to the middle, while making way for all who are in Him to worship in Spirit and Truth. He brings us from Temples to Tables— where we are all invited to partner in His in-breaking kingdom within & throughout the communities we call home.

We lament the suffering that surrounds us & proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ. We pursue spiritual, racial, economic, and educational justice. We are multi-ethnic. We are grassroots and community-oriented. We offend and have been offended. We ask for forgiveness and offer it. We speak out and walk the streets. We partner with organizations and community leaders. We seek beauty and practice hospitality. We organize and advocate. All for the sake of partnering in the in-breaking kingdom of Heaven, here and now, in South Chattanooga.

Listen Along With Us

I believe in God,
the Father almighty,
Creator of heaven and earth,
and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died and was buried;
he descended into hell;
on the third day he rose again from the dead;
he ascended into heaven,
and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty;
from there he will come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy Christian Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and life everlasting.

Amen.
